Description: John Souttar, is shining on the Dundee United team. This young Scot was recruited still very young in Brechin Boys Club, along with another young talent that we have present already in our blog: Ryan Gauld. This is the second season that he is playing for the first team, something awesome since he was born in 1996 and so he made 18 years old during this year. It is a fairly consistent central defender, also a constant presence in the national team of his country and can sometimes act as a right back. It is physically strong, a typical English center with his 1,86 M, possess a good aerial ability and is aggressive and strong in the tackle. Coupled with all these qualities is very effective in the first phase of construction, revealing very quiet and safe in the construction prossess, having a good vision and pass quality. In terms of speed is not very fast and as rogth back is more restrained , but it seems to be fast enough and insightful player in terms of anticipation, and in our opinion more effective as central defender. É um defesa central bastante consistente, também presença assídua nas equipas nacionais do seu país e por vezes pode actuar como defesa direito. É fisicamente forte, um central tipicamente inglês com o seu 1,86 M, possuí um bom jogo aéreo e é agressivo e forte no desarme. Aliado a todas estas qualidades é muito eficaz na primeira fase de construção, revelando bastante tranquilidade e segurança na construção de jogo, possuindo uma boa visão de jogo e qualidade de passe. Em termos de velocidade não é muito rápido e a lateral é mais comedido, mas parece ser um jogador suficientemente rápido e perspicaz em termos de antecipação, sendo na nossa opinião mais eficaz no centro da defesa. Como seria de esperar, alguns interessados começaram a surgir, mas até ao momento todas as propostas foram rejeitadas, sendo provável que o "salto" para um clube de maior dimensão esteja para breve.
