A sua forma de jogar faz lembrar Messi: drible muito curto e apurado, bola sempre colada à canhota, e uma capacidade de aceleração estonteante! Remata muito bem, com enorme colocação e, muitas das vezes, quando finaliza, principalmente, vê primeiro o posicionamento do guardo redes e só depois efetua o remate. Por estas e outras situações se denota a sua inteligência a jogar, também patente numa boa visão de jogo. É bom a criar espaços, e a descobrir colegas bem desmarcados, demonstrando depois uma ótima capacidade de passe. Uma das características que mais salta à vista no jogo de Patrick são as fintas espetaculares que consegue executar! O jovem prodígio já há muito que é cobiçado por alguns grandes emblemas, tendo o Manchester United já reforçado o interesse, o que obrigou o Fulham a aumentar o aumentar o seu valor!
